interview: POST NEBBIA

Udinì presents the exclusive interview with Carlo Corbellini of the ‘Post Nebbia’.

Post Nebbia are a band from the new music scene in Veneto, born from the home recording explorations of Carlo Corbellini, class of ’99.

The band published their first self-produced work Prima Stagione in May 2018, getting noticed by important realities of the Italian independent music scene. With their first dates, they receive positive feedback from everyone in the industry. In the first months of 2020, the band is reported among the most promising bands by both (CBCR) and Rolling Stone (Class of 2020).

On 23 October 2020, their second album Canale Paesaggi was released by Dischi Sotterranei/La Tempesta Dischi. Here, Post Nebbia start from a psych-rock base, but play with references to funk, sample-based music by producers such as Madlib and The Alchemist and Italian library music. A hallucinatory journey into the world of the TV viewer’s experience, with references to the trashy aesthetics of regional TV channels. The album met with enthusiasm from the public and press (including Il Venerdì di Repubblica, La Lettura, Internazionale, Billboard, Rolling Stone).

On 28 May 2021, the single Veneto d’estate feat. Nico LaOnda was released, opening and anticipating a busy summer tour of major festivals and venues throughout Italy.

The band makes its comeback with the new album Entropia Padrepio, anticipated by the singles Cuore semplice and Cristallo Metallo.
